Bloody Marys by the Pitcher

For brunch or as needed, we specifically enjoy Texas-made vodkas like Tito's or Deep Eddy.
  • 40 ounces (5 cups) chilled tomato juice
  • 20 ounces (2-1/2 cups) chilled vodka
  • 4 ounces (1/2 cup) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • lime wedges
  • celery sticks
  1. Combine all ingredients except lime wedges and celery sticks in a large pitcher.
  2. Stir. Serve over ice, and garnish individual glasses with spicy pickled green beans, lime wedges and celery sticks.
  3. Makes 2 quarts.

Note: Using the above proportions, one Bloody Mary would consist of 2-1/2 ounces vodka, 5 ounces tomato juice, 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) lemon juice, 1/8 teaspoon each black pepper, salt and celery seed, 3 dashes Worcestershire and 1 dash Tabasco.
