Texas has produced and is still producing characters whose names and deeds are well known. We're proud of most of Texas' sons and daughters, but we can't deny that there are some who are more infamous than famous.
The one criterion that is absolutely essential to getting on this list is that the individual must have been born within the boundaries of the Great State of Texas.
