Tempest in a Tea Cup

Homer Laughlin produced the matching jumbo cup and saucer set for years - until announcing that they were ending production on May 31, 2013.

These are part of the Fiesta Mates line, which are pieces from HLC's restaurantware dipped in Fiesta glazes. The jumbo cup nicely matched many people's appitite for jumbo amounts of coffee.

Some disliked the jumbo cup's functionality, complaining that coffee in it got cold too quickly. The jumbo cup, like the chili bowl, holds 18 oz. The jumbo saucer measures 6 3/4" wide, almost an inch wider than the regular Fiesta cup and saucer.

The Post86 Jumbo Cup is item number 149. The Post86 Jumbo Saucer is item number 293.

Below is our list of eBay auctions for Fiesta stacking cereal bowls. This is currently widely available since it's in production, so also check Macy's.com and Amazon for the best deals of the day.
