The carafe has been produced in both the vintage Fiesta line, as well as for the Post86 line. Otherwise, there are few similarities, with the Post 86 Fiesta carafe being significantly less ambitious. The vintage carafe is a remarkable piece, which because of its relatively short production run has become highly prized.
The vintage carafe has a separate top with a cork seal. Any serious collector of Vintage Fiesta should attempt to own it in all colors: red, cobalt, green, turquoise, yellow and ivory. The ivory carafe is the most difficult to find.
