Chocolate Cookie Crust
This is a delicious, simple to make crust. The chocolate flavor pairs well with mint, peanut butter, raspberry and many other cream and ice cream pie flavors.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos are great, but remove the centers)
- 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) melted butter
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine the crumbs and butter in a medium bowl and mix well. Firmly press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Bake for 8 minutes. Cool before filling.
