Bourbon Ice Cream

Is it possible to cool off and warm up at the same time? If so, this is the recipe that will do it.
Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups half-and-half
  • fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Beat the eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer. Gradually add the sugar. Then add the bourbon and condensed milk, mixing well. Add the half-and-half.
  2. Pour mixture into freezer can of hand-turned or electric ice cream freezer. Freeze according to freezer manufacturer's directions. Let ice cream ripen for at least one hour before serving.
  3. Makes about 3 quarts.
