This is a Tex-Mex version of the Salty Dog, using tequila rather than vodka or gin.
- Wet the rim of an old fashioned glass with lime juice, then dip in salt.
- Fill glass with ice.
- Pour in tequila and grapefruit juice.
- Squeeze and drop in the lime wedge.
Note: The more traditional method of preparation is to substitute 1/4 teaspoon salt in the drink for the coarse salt on the rim of the glass. You decide which method you prefer.
