Cindy's Good Old Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound (3-3/4 cups) confectioners' sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
Preparation:
  1. Cream together the cream cheese and butter.
  2. Beat in the sugar, adding milk and vanilla.
  3. Makes enough to frost an 8- or 9-inch two-layer cake.
