This is so easy to put together, any Cowboy can do it -- whether he knows his way around the kitchen or not.

• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup your favorite salsa
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• freshly ground pepper, to taste

Put ingredients in a bowl and and stir well to incorporate. Serve with chips.

Cream cheese may be softened in the microwave by heating it at 50 percent for 1 minute.

Note: This is great just like it is or made a little more interesting with chopped green onions, minced cilantro, pickled jalapeño slices, black olives or whatever else suits you.
