Cover it with choc'late and a miracle or two

Please Don't Eat the Dishes

On October 6, 2008, HLC announced the Chocolate color to its line of Fiesta dinnerware. The company also introduced Ivory that same year, and two new colors the same year is an unusual move for the company.

In their press release they write, "After an enormous number of requests for a dark brown and a need for another strong earth tone...we decided to introduce a limited item color to accompany Ivory."

In 2009, Chocolate was one of the line's largest sellers. However, the company held true to its original promise that it would be limited run. HLC stopped production of chocolate in 2012.

When we made shortcake-style baking powder biscuits, we photographed them on a Chocolate Fiesta Lunch Plate.

Collectors and sellers sell Chocolate Fiesta dishes online every day. Check here for the current list of auctions and Buy It Now specials.
